the mattress was too soft for my back n i had trouble sleeping one night. also, there were some issues with hot water but they fixed it quick.

Had a cozy stay in the room with a four-poster bed which was heavenly to sleep in after a long day. Breakfast was not just good, it was outstanding, with a wide selection including a delicious Full English that really hit the spot.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but you know what they say, quality comes at a price.

During our short stay, we found the location to be great for exploring the nearby attractions, like the River Cottage. The room was stylish and comfortable, equipped with fluffy towels and thoughtful amenities like welcome biscuits. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a delicious selection that fueled our adventures. The proprietor showed great care in ensuring our comfort, particularly regarding my allergy to dog hair, which was greatly appreciated.

Cozy Atmosphere with Exquisite Breakfast
We had a lovely one-night stay, enjoying a beautifully decorated room that provided cozy comfort. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring made-to-order options like smoked salmon and fluffy scrambled eggs that fueled our day perfectly. The warm and friendly service made us feel right at home, and we particularly appreciated the tranquil garden area for relaxation. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add more seating in the lounge area for larger groups.

The honesty bar and comfy lounge area were perfect for unwinding. The lovely gardens and charming atmosphere made our stay special.
Felt very lucky, no complaints.

missingWrote a review on Sept 10limited dining
The breakfast could use refinement. the porridge relied on instant oats, and pancakes lacked freshness, signaling they were pre-made. On top of that, our room felt cramped, especially when the sofa bed was deployed, while the local dining scene gave off a drab vibe, leaving limited options for a decent evening meal.
